Dingo pups venture from their underground den for the first time after about three weeks. Accompanied by their parents, they soon begin to explore further afield, learning how to navigate Australia’s unforgiving landscapes. Less reliant on their mother’s milk by two months old, they’re on their way to becoming Australia's largest carnivorous mammals.

• Obverse: Portrays the Jody Clark likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by the date, face value Silver weight and purity.

• Reverse: The coin portrays a dingo sitting with its attentive pup amid wildflowers. The design includes a backdrop of radial lines and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
  

Authentic Feature

This coin includes an authentication feature on the reverse in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter. Detectable under a magnifying glass, it is designed to make it significantly more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited.
