The African Penguin is a rare and endangered species. The African Penguin can communicate through vocalizations and body language just like humans. Penguins are known to use specific type of braying calls to speak with others in their colony or to find a lost penguin in the water. According to the San Diego Zoo, African Penguins are one of the first penguins to be discovered by humans and they haven't stopped communicating with themselves ever since. There are only about 52,000 African Penguins left in the wild, making these talkative birds endangered.
