1 oz Silver Coin - 2021 Dragon - Perth Mint
Legend & Fortune
Traditionally regarded as the embodiment of the Emperor, the Chinese dragon is revered as benevolent, noble and is a potent symbol of abundance and good fortune.
Struck from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, this design portrays a powerful Chinese dragon clasping a pearl in one of its claws as well as representations of clouds denoting the dragon’s celestial realm.
Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin bears the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II together with the coins weight, purity, monetary denomination, and year-date.
Authentic Feature
This coin includes an authentication feature on the reverse in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter. Detectable under a magnifying glass, it is designed to make it significantly more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited.
Presentation & Mintage
Each Dragon 2021 1oz Silver Bullion Coin is presented in an individual protective acrylic capsule & comes with an individual coin gift bag.
No more than 45,000 of these coins will be released. Production will cease when the mintage is fully sold or at the end of 2021, after which The Perth Mint will ‘declare’ the total number made.
