1 oz Silver Bullion Minted Coin - 2023 Rectangle Dragon - Perth Mint
Chinese Dragon
In Chinese culture, the dragon is revered as a divine mythical creature, symbol of power, strength, wealth, and good fortune, and is often portrayed alongside a luminous or flaming pearl. Dragons are also believed to be the rulers of water and weather, and are frequently depicted in Chinese culture. They are linked to the "yang", the masculine principle of the yin and yang. Emperors are said to have descended from dragons. The Perth Mint brings this stunning Dragon design in 1 ounce of .9999 fine Silver, on a rectangular, bar-shaped coin.
- Obverse: Depicts the Jody Clark likeness of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, her years of reign: 1952-2022, the face value, 2023 year-date, weight and fineness.
- Reverse: Features a stylized Chinese dragon and The Perth Mint's "P" mint mark.
Authentic Feature
This coin includes an authentication feature on the reverse in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter. Detectable under a magnifying glass, it is designed to make it significantly more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited.
