Dragons are also believed to be the rulers of water and weather, and are frequently depicted in Chinese culture. They are linked to the "yang", the masculine principle of the yin and yang. Emperors are said to have descended from dragons. The Perth Mint brings this stunning Dragon design in 1 ounce of .9999 fine Silver, on a rectangular, bar-shaped coin.

• Obverse: Depicts the Jody Clark likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the face value, 2022 year-date, weight and fineness.

• Reverse: Features a stylized Chinese dragon and the Perth Mint's "P" mint mark.
  

Authentic Feature

This coin includes an authentication feature on the reverse in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter. Detectable under a magnifying glass, it is designed to make it significantly more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited.

Presentation & Mintage

This Australian 2022 Rectangle Dragon 1oz Silver Bullion Coin is presented in an individual protective clear coin flip. Each bullion product comes with a complementary bullion bag.

Limited number of 250,000 coins will be released. Production will cease when the mintage is fully sold or at the end of 2022, after which The Perth Mint will ‘declare’ the total number made.
