Istanbul Gold Refinery

The Istanbul Gold Refinery was the first refinery to be listed on the Istanbul Gold Exchange and is certified by the LBMA (London Bullion Market Association). In addition to minting precious metals products, it is also known for services like purchase of scrap, trading, melting and refining, accredited laboratory, stone recovery facilities, and mining.

Each of these bullion gold bars is minted using 1 gram of four-niner pure gold (0.9999).The bars are sealed in tamper-evident plastic slabs and come with an assay card that has the same serial number as the bar inside. This assay card not only assures you of the bars' authenticity, but it also certifies the weight and purity of the gold you get in these products. You could receive either of the designs shown above. 

The obverses feature imprints of the purity and weight of the gold in the bar. The logo of the Istanbul Gold Refinery is stamped onto the top of this side as well.

On the other hand, an elegant repeating pattern is visible on the reverses -- the words 'IGR' repeated across the bar's surface.
