This 1/10 oz Platinum Kookaburra features the popular animal on a fractional sized Platinum coin, allowing customers to have this Australian coin at a lower price point than other 1 ounce Platinum coins from Australia. The coin also features a limited mintage, adding collectibility to the release. The .9995 fine Platinum coin includes The Perth Mint's "P" Mint mark.

• Obverse: Features the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.

• Reverse: Depicts a kookaburra sitting on a branch of a gum tree with leaves and seedpods. Also included in the design is the inscription ‘AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA’, The Perth Mint’s "P" mint mark, the 2021 year-date, as well as the weight and purity.

Authentication feature

For additional peace of mind, the coin incorporates an authentication feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter. Detectable under a magnifying glass, it is designed to make it significantly more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited

Presentation & Mintage

Each 2021 1oz Platinum Bullion Coin is presented in a protective acrylic capsule & an individual coin bullion bag.

No more than 15,000 of these coins will be released. Production will cease when the mintage is fully sold or at the end of 2021, after which The Perth Mint will ‘declare’ the total number made.
