The Perth Mint Kookaburras


The Kookaburra series from The Perth Mint is extremely popular among collectors, and the 2022 release is now available in a 1/10 oz Gold version. The 1/10 oz Gold Kookaburra features a unique design for 2022, and features 0.9999 fine Gold.

• Obverse: The Jody Clark likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.

• Reverse: Portrays a kookaburra perched on an ornamental bird bath among flowering plants. Also included in the design is the inscription "AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA," The Perth Mint’s "P" mint mark, the 2022 year-date and the weight and purity.

Authentic Feature

This coin includes an authentication feature on the reverse in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter. Detectable under a magnifying glass, it is designed to make it significantly more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited.

Presentation & Mintage

The Australian1/10oz Gold Bullion Coin is presented in an individual protective acrylic capsule. Each product comes with its own individual bullion bag.

Production will close at the end of 2022, after which The Perth Mint will declare the coin's official mintage.
